87yj
I just installed autoit on a vista PC but none of the mouse or send commands seem to be working. For example: mousemove(100,100) does nothing when I execute the script. I have everything installed on other PCs without issue. I installed the VC++ 2010 runtimes should I have used an older version? BrewManNH
You don't need any runtime files to use AutoIt, so it wouldn't matter which ones you install. Also, mousemove works fine on all of the versions of Windows I have used it on (XP/Vista/7/8). If I posted any code, assume that code was written using the latest release version unless stated otherwise. Also, if it doesn't work on XP I can't help with that because I don't have access to XP, and I'm not going to.Give a programmer the correct code and he can do his work for a day. 87yj
I think the UAC was set too tight on the PC, if I run SciTE as admin it starts working. mystery solved.
