How to run scripts minimized or invisible for users?

Let's say I make a script that starts notepad, writes 3 lines of text then saves to :c and closes.

When running this script notepad will pop up and the text being sent will be visible.

Is there a way to run scripts invisibly?

I heard something about doing this via registry or something? I once heard something about HKmkeys or something like that?

To write a text you do not need to open Notepad, simply use the following example:

Local $file = FileOpen("test.txt", 1)

; Check if file opened for writing OK
If $file = -1 Then
MsgBox(0, "Error", "Unable to open file.")
Exit
EndIf

FileWrite($file, "Line1" & @CRLF)
FileWrite($file, "Line2" & @CRLF)
FileWrite($file, "Line3")

FileClose($file)

I want to hide it from the user because it looks more professional, when I install software I only see on GUI, then it all runs in the background and all that can be seen is either nothing or a progress bar....

Look at the Run command in the help file, the last parameter can be @SW_HIDE which will, in most cases, hide the program you run using the Run command. It doesn't work for all software, and sometimes it will flash on the screen briefly before being hidden, but should do what you need.

Sound good but if the GUI isn't there how can I run some "Sends"

Let's say I would want this done:

- Open a .txt file and input some text

- Wrap the text by doing a Send of:

Send("{ALTDOWN}fw{ALTUP}")

Since notepad is not visible the sends won't work right?

Is there a way to make the SEND work even if the window is not visible?

You'd have to use ControlSend and ControlClick, because send doesn't work for hidden or minimized windows, or on locked computers.

I would add to BrewManNH's suggestion that you will see more stability using the Control commands whenever possible anyway. Send is notoriously prone to mistakes. It would be worth reading through the Control commands in the help file as you make more complex scripts.
