The inline errors are there as guidance, I would read what they say instead of clearing them.I agree with that statement, and do endeavour to write clean code, but at the moment I have a quite large project that I have broken into several files relating to functionality. I have done this for my convenience only. These files just contain functions and typically refer to other functions and global variables that are in the main project file, they are not udfs, just collections of functions. This works fine for me, but ocassionally I will try, by accident, to do a syntax check or run one of these files rather than the main project file and end up with a screen full of errors. No harm done, but it is incovenient to then have that file displaying the errors, I just wanted a convient way to clear them.The inline errors are a great feature, and a syntax check of the main project file quickly finds any problems, and is my normal "modus operandi" when coding.If you go to the "Search" menu, and select "Clear all bookmarks" it will clear the bookmarks and the inline errors.Thanks BrewManNH, That is what I was looking for! I do the same thing with breaking script into files; such as main, main.h, global, thing is though you can call the files in such a way that they will compile stand alone. Compile is the wrong word there sure. I don't like the inline errors because for years I have looked at code and error messages without the inline option now that it's there I went out of my way to remove it too, thank you again BrewManNH. It's just I am trained to debug a certain way and throwing red text up directly at the error throws me off, I want to continue to use the console output to debug my errors it's the same thing, and I know where to find it. Ima dumb animal.
