      Hi everyone,
I have created a ListView that is in a tab, and I want to display an image in that tab, with the ListView on top.
However, the image still appears on top of my ListView.
If I remove the tabs everything works.
I looked at the autoit documentation and the <GuiListView.au3> documentation , I can't figure out how to display a background image, and put on top a ListView, inside a tab. 😥
      Here is the code:
      Opt("GUIOnEventMode", 1) $Form1 = GUICreate($Titre, 700, 627, $Form1Width, $Form1Height); main window $tabulation = GUICtrlCreateTab(148,0,700,580); creating tabs $tab1=GUICtrlCreateTabItem("Tab 1"); first tab GUICtrlSetState(-1, $GUI_SHOW); this tab is selected by default $Pic1 = GUICtrlCreatePic("image.jpg", 0, 30, 700, 627) GUICtrlSetState(-1, $GUI_DISABLE). $idListview = GUICtrlCreateListView("list 1|list 2|list 3", 200, 50, 390, 200) GUISetState(@SW_SHOW) While 1     Sleep(100) WEnd Thank you in advance.

      Hello.
I'm using SciTE v3.3.14.5 I think, and I find this very annoying (GIF):
      https://i.gyazo.com/e60b5d94b8c16d217be4010e208d7042.mp4

I've searched around but found nothing that helped including this:
      https://www.autoitscript.com/forum/topic/100517-stop-scite-removing-tab-indentations/

So the problem obviously is that when I go to a new line after "EndIf", it removes the tab which I don't want to happen.
      Is there any fix?

I've tried to change some configs such as
          Line 183: # Indentation     Line 185: indent.size=0     Line 187: #indent.auto=0     Line 188: indent.automatic=0     Line 189: indent.opening=0     Line 190: indent.closing=0     Line 191: #tab.indents=0     Line 192: #backspace.unindents=0 strip.trailing.spaces=0 But nothing seems to get rid of this.

      Thanks

The following script, thanks largely to @UEZ, displays the attached PNG image on the Windows Desktop.

It perfectly renders the sticky note's shadow over whatever's in the background.
But here's the catch: I would like to add a line of text, fetched from a variable and using a font of my choice, atop the sticky note. It needs to be part of the same GUI because the sticky note can be dragged and placed anywhere on the screen.
Will someone here show me how to add just the additional code needed to accomplish my goal? I have tried sporadically for two years to merge in code from scripts that use GDI+ calls to display text over alpha channels but the challenge has proven beyond me.
      #include <ButtonConstants.au3> #include <MsgBoxConstants.au3> #include <StructureConstants.au3> #include <WinAPIConstants.au3> #include <GDIPlus.au3> #include <GUIConstantsEx.au3> #include <WindowsConstants.au3> #include <WinAPISysWin.au3> _GDIPlus_Startup() Global Const $SC_DRAGMOVE = 0xF012 Global $iW, $iH, $hImage, $hBitmap, $hGUI $hImage = _GDIPlus_BitmapCreateFromFile("Using-Note.png") $hBitmap = _GDIPlus_BitmapCreateHBITMAPFromBitmap($hImage) $iW = _GDIPlus_ImageGetWidth($hImage) $iH = _GDIPlus_ImageGetHeight($hImage) $hGUI = GUICreate("", $iW, $iH, -1, -1, $WS_POPUP, BitOR($WS_EX_LAYERED,$WS_EX_TOPMOST)) GUISetState() _WinAPI_BitmapDisplayTransparentInGUI($hBitmap, $hGUI) GUIRegisterMsg($WM_LBUTTONDOWN, "_WM_LBUTTONDOWN") Do Until GUIGetMsg() = $GUI_EVENT_CLOSE _WinAPI_DeleteObject($hBitmap) _GDIPlus_BitmapDispose($hImage) _GDIPlus_Shutdown() GUIDelete() Func _WinAPI_BitmapDisplayTransparentInGUI(ByRef $hHBitmap, ByRef $hGUI, $iOpacity = 0xFF, $bReleaseGDI = True) If Not BitAND(GUIGetStyle($hGUI)[1], $WS_EX_LAYERED) = $WS_EX_LAYERED Then Return SetError(1, 0, 0) Local $tDim = DllStructCreate($tagBITMAP) If Not _WinAPI_GetObject($hHBitmap, DllStructGetSize($tDim), DllStructGetPtr($tDim)) Then Return SetError(2, 0, 0) Local $tSize = DllStructCreate($tagSIZE), $tSource = DllStructCreate($tagPOINT), $tBlend = DllStructCreate($tagBLENDFUNCTION) Local Const $hScrDC = _WinAPI_GetDC(0), $hMemDC = _WinAPI_CreateCompatibleDC($hScrDC), $hOld = _WinAPI_SelectObject($hMemDC, $hHBitmap) $tSize.X = $tDim.bmWidth $tSize.Y = $tDim.bmHeight $tBlend.Alpha = $iOpacity $tBlend.Format = 1 _WinAPI_UpdateLayeredWindow($hGUI, $hScrDC, 0, DllStructGetPtr($tSize), $hMemDC, DllStructGetPtr($tSource), 0, DllStructGetPtr($tBlend), $ULW_ALPHA) _WinAPI_ReleaseDC(0, $hScrDC) _WinAPI_SelectObject($hMemDC, $hOld) _WinAPI_DeleteDC($hMemDC) If $bReleaseGDI Then _WinAPI_DeleteObject($hHBitmap) Return True EndFunc Func _WM_LBUTTONDOWN($hWnd, $iMsg, $wParam, $lParam) _SendMessage($hGUI, $WM_SYSCOMMAND, $SC_DRAGMOVE, 0) EndFunc ;==>_WM_LBUTTONDOWN

      Hi dears
I've got a question in creating tabs in autoit
Usually in other programs you can move between tabs by pressing ctrl + tab or ctrl + shift + tab
I tried to create a window  which have a multy  tab but when i press one of the shortcuts
it does not move between the tabs
Is there an option to enable or disable this
      Greetings

      Hi Community,

I'm looking for a way to do a Video Overlay GUI or something like that. The idea is to create a GUI which plays a video loop (with transparency/alpha channel) in front of an other GUI. Before you asking why - because I don't believe that GDIPlus can do it out of the box. My skillset for that kind of graphical things isn't good enough to do that, but here are some specialist like @UEZ maybe who can help.

Example alpha channel video (visualized as animated *.gif):

I tried to do the light rays effect directly with GDIPlus, but honestly that's a bit too difficult for me. I would be very glad and grateful if there are some suggestions, ideas or recommendations.

      Code for the Video play:

      Example video "End.mpeg":

The next challenge is that the overlay GUI should be not clickable. If I hover over the overlay area, I want to have the possibility to control the GUI or what ever, in the background. But if there is any chance to make it with GDIPlus as a Video Overlay for light rays, I would prefer that approach instead of my crazy work-around idea.

Thanks for any suggestion - I'm grateful!
      Sven
