Get countdown of website

Recommended Posts

Hey guys, I'm a beginner and I try to do this: except that the counter from the website isn't images.

So I used _IEGetObjById with the counter id and it returns --:--:-- which is the format of the counter whitout the values. So how could I get the value?

Thank you

You can take this webite http://www.zeekler.com/index_penny.asp

And my little code:

#include <IE.au3>
$oIE = _IECreate ("http://www.zeekler.com/index_penny.asp")
$myVar = _IEGetObjById ($oIE, "counter_index_page_49356")
ConsoleWrite("test" & $myVar.innertext & @CRLF)
if $myVar= "00:00:19" Then
  MsgBox(0,"test",$myVar)
EndIf

You may have to change the counter id if the item is gone. Btw I'm doing this for learning purposes, I don't care about buying cheap coffee maker x) I could have taken another website, same thing

So yeah... ConsoleWrite returns --:--:--, how do I get the value?

I don't think you can, it appears to be a javascript running in the background that displays the timer. There doesn't appear to be anything on that page that displays the actual timer value.

If I posted any code, assume that code was written using the latest release version unless stated otherwise. Also, if it doesn't work on XP I can't help with that because I don't have access to XP, and I'm not going to.

From their site

This eliminates 'sniper bidding' and gives everyone a fair chance at winning.

if your looking at their java code than your targeting their site and it is not for

for learning purposes

.

I don't see you as fair bidder.

edit: even if you do look for java code i hardly think that you even know how to get them.
