Corrupt
Hello. I'm fairly new to AutoIt, and I was wondering how you would properly implement the FileOpenDialog function to be used whenever a certain button within the program is pressed. Any help is highly appreciated.

Skitty
It's very simple in AutoIt script as opposed to most other scripting languages. You can type in the function name into scite text editor and the click the name and press [F1], if you did it right, there should be a screen that pops up and tells you how to use it with an example. Global $sFilePath = FileOpenDialog("Testing script",@ScriptDir, "All(*.*)",2+1) If @error Then MsgBox(64, "Info!", "You canceled the file selection.") Else MsgBox(64, "Info!", "You selected a file!" & @CR & "FilePath: """ & $sFilePath & """") EndIf ; the """" sequence icludes one single " in the string, the "" acts as the (escape character) would in most other languages...
