StringingLong
Can someone tell me how to disable tracing in the AutoIt debugger. I've looked around the program and can' find a switch to disable tracing. I want to turn it on and off at will. But right now can't seem to find the off switch. Thanks! Moderators Melba23 Posted August 11, 2012 Moderators Share Posted August 11, 2012 StringingLong, Welcome to the AutoIt forum. There is not an "AutoIt debugger" as such although there are several user-written ones. Which debugger are you using? StringingLong
Hi, since I'm new here I only have one more post left for the weekend so I'm going to be explicit as possible. The debugger I'm referring to is this one: http://www.thefoolonthehill.net/drupal/AutoIt%20DebuggerI am using the mysql (non-odbc) udf. It has several au3 files that go with it that get included.1) i code, compile and build within AutoIt Debugger2) Set the cursor to where I want the debugger to run to3) Hit Run to CursorWhat happens next is that the tracing window appears pumping out each and every line within the files that go with the mysql udf.As you can imagine, this takes forever and is not necessary as I only want to debug the code in my script, not anything outside it.So, I want to turn tracing off. I have found no way to do so. Closing the trace window wont work.I am using the latest releases of everything
Moderators Melba23 Posted August 11, 2012 Moderators Share Posted August 11, 2012 StringingLong, The best place to ask your question is in the thread devoted to that debugger - which you can find here. And I have removed the "new member" post limitation so that you can ask it as soon as you wish.
