Is it available to create a GuiCtrlCreateEdit which has a scroll-bar to the left and the text starts from the right?

Thank you.

What's the meaning of the tilde ("~") at the start of all of your topics?

It is possible to align text to the right using the edit style $ES_RIGHT. There is no easy way to place the scroll bar on the left as far as I know, but I think it should still be possible. Typing in reverse - now there's a problem. You might want to look at _MirrorText() in - it might give you some ideas.

EKY32,

Perhaps this? :huh:

#include <GUIConstantsEx.au3>
#include <WindowsConstants.au3>
#include <EditConstants.au3>

$hGUI = GUICreate("Test", 500, 500)

$cEdit = GUICtrlCreateEdit("", 10, 10, 480, 350, $GUI_SS_DEFAULT_EDIT, $WS_EX_LAYOUTRTL)

GUISetState()

While 1
    Switch GUIGetMsg()
        Case $GUI_EVENT_CLOSE
            Exit
    EndSwitch
WEnd
