Screen capture after mouse click and capture screen depends of mouse coords

Recommended Posts

So I have script which will get coords where mouse is clicked.

#Include
Global $pos
getpos()

Func GetPos()
While 1
if _IsPressed("01") then
$pos = MouseGetPos()
MsgBox(0, "Mouse x,y:", $pos[0] & "," & $pos[1])
EndIf
WEnd
EndFunc

And _ScreenCapture_Capture(@MyDocumentsDir & "GDIPlus_Image2.jpg", 0, 0, 796, 596) func from help file.

How to make it to capture screen like 50x50 pixels from mouse position? I hope you understood what I want.

Edit: Seems that I like to ask other first before search for it. Sorry I found solutions. Like here

Or no, its not what I want...

EdgarT,

Simple maths! :D

$pos = MouseGetPos()
_ScreenCapture_Capture(@MyDocumentsDir & "GDIPlus_Image2.jpg", $pos[0] - 25, $pos[1] - 25, $pos[0] + 25, $pos[1] + 25)

By calculating the rectangle.

#include <Misc.au3>
#include <ScreenCapture.au3>

Global $pos
getpos()

Func GetPos()
    While 1
        If _IsPressed("01") Then
            _ScreenCapture_Capture(@ScriptDir & "Captured.jpg", MouseGetPos(0), MouseGetPos(1), MouseGetPos(0) + 50, MouseGetPos(1) + 50)
            ExitLoop
        EndIf
    WEnd
    ShellExecute(@ScriptDir & "Captured.jpg")
EndFunc

Ok, M23 was faster again...
