GBMacMan
Problem: How to discover available printers on a local subnet and return IP, Make and Model. General Solution: Scan all ips in local subnet, determine which is a printer, query printer. Scanning the subnet isnt a problem, but determining which ip is a printer and then getting the make and model is troublesome. I have tried getting the info from the embedded web server, but not all manufacturers provide info the same way. My primary concerns are HP and Toshiba mfps. Any and all guidance will be appreciated. Thanks...
