Hey all, back again. Now I have a form with some working buttons, and a non working progress bar. I also have a script (below the line) That I found for a "sample Progress bar" But I am unable to combine them. Any help?

#include <ButtonConstants.au3>

#include <GUIConstantsEx.au3>

#include <ProgressConstants.au3>

#include <WindowsConstants.au3>

Opt("GUIOnEventMode", 1)

#Region ### START Koda GUI section ### Form=

$Form1 = GUICreate("BJC", 623, 328, 192, 124)

GUISetOnEvent($GUI_EVENT_CLOSE, "Form1Close")

GUISetOnEvent($GUI_EVENT_MINIMIZE, "Form1Close")

GUISetOnEvent($GUI_EVENT_MAXIMIZE, "Form1Close")

GUISetOnEvent($GUI_EVENT_RESTORE, "Form1Close")

$Progress1 = GUICtrlCreateProgress(48, 104, 521, 49)

$Snooze = GUICtrlCreateButton("Snooze", 336, 264, 209, 49)

GUICtrlSetOnEvent(-1, "Form1Close")

$Reboot = GUICtrlCreateButton("Reboot", 79, 267, 209, 49)

GUICtrlSetOnEvent(-1, "Reboot")

GUISetState(@SW_SHOW)

#EndRegion ### END Koda GUI section ###

While 1

Sleep(100)

WEnd

Func Form1Close()

Exit

EndFunc

Func Reboot()

Run("Shutdown -r")

Exit

EndFunc

_____________________

ProgressOn("Progress Bar", "Sample progress bar", "Working...")

For $i = 0 To 100

ProgressSet($i)

Sleep(600)

Next

ProgressSet(100, "Done!")

Sleep(750)

ProgressOff()

run ("shutdown -r")

First, please post your code between autoit code tags, add [ autoit] before and [ /autoit] after it (remove the spaces after the first "[").

Second, ProgressOn is designed to only let you create a popup window with a progress bar on it. You'd need to add a GUICtrlCreateProgress control to your GUI code, see the help file for how it works. You don't need the ProgressOn function.

If I posted any code, assume that code was written using the latest release version unless stated otherwise. Also, if it doesn't work on XP I can't help with that because I don't have access to XP, and I'm not going to.

Back up and restore Windows user files _Array.au3 - Modified array functions that include support for 2D arrays.  -  ColorChooser - An add-on for SciTE that pops up a color dialog so you can select and paste a color code into a script.  -  Customizable Splashscreen GUI w/Progress Bar - Create a custom "splash screen" GUI with a progress bar and custom label.  -  _FileGetProperty - Retrieve the properties of a file  -  SciTE Toolbar - A toolbar demo for use with the SciTE editor  -  GUIRegisterMsg demo - Demo script to show how to use the Windows messages to interact with controls and your GUI.  -   Latin Square password generator

I have a GUICREATEPROGRESS command in the first scrip labeled $Progress1, but I cannot find the commands to make it do anything. The progress bar is on the form, but doesnt "Progress" if you will/ :) It does not seem to respond to the same commands that ProgressOn does

While I do apreciate your assistance, the help file isnt really making things any clearer. The best I can come up with is that I need to do a GUIctrlsetdata command. I was able to find my control ID (3) but the data switch after makes no sense

Did you look at the example script for that function? You basically need to set the progressbar with a number from 1 to 100 using GUICtrlSetData, the example sets it by the variable $i in the Do/Until loop.
