wisem2540
Can someone tell me where im going wrong here? I want this script to run and wait til a specific time. I thought about using scheduled tasks, but I cant seem to get it to work under multiple accounts. So if I create a scheduled task for Administrator and I log in as John, John will not see notepad launch. So this is my workaround. I will put this script in ALL USERS startup and it will run and wait for the time. Ideas? If @HOUR = 09 And @Min = 26 Then Prog() Else Sleep (1000) EndIf Func Prog() Run("Notepad.exe") EndFunc
water
You need a loop statement like While/WEnd or Do/Until. Your script now does the check only once. BrewManNH
For one your call to Prog() is on the same line as your Else, they need to be on separate lines. For another, this will only run once then exit, so if it's not 9:26 when they log in, Notepad will never run from the script. Here's 2 examples of how it could be written. HotKeySet("+{F1}", "_Exit") ; SHIFT-F1 exits the script ; This example runs once until the time is reached While 1 If @HOUR = 10 And @MIN = 54 Then ExitLoop Sleep(1000) WEnd Prog() ; This example will run until you stop it, and will run notepad at the time below every day. While 1 If @HOUR = 10 And @MIN = 55 Then Prog() Sleep(60000) ; sleeps 1 minute so it doesn't run again right away Else Sleep(1000) EndIf WEnd Func _Exit() Exit EndFunc ;==>_Exit Func Prog() Run("Notepad.exe") EndFunc ;==>Prog If I posted any code, assume that code was written using the latest release version unless stated otherwise. wisem2540
This one seems to work Do Sleep(1000) Until @hour = 10 So now as long as its in the 10 Oclock hour (AM of course) it will run. Is there something I could add to make it look at the day? I did not see an @day command.. lol
BrewManNH
If you want the day of the week, look at @WDAY, and also look at your help file before asking for something that could be found with 20 seconds of work.
