itctravel
I have data that gets returned from an outside app that has 2 datafields that are seperated with a comma i.e. data1,data2. How would I go about defining the data before the comma to a variable i.e. $Var1 and after the comma $Var2 ? Thanks for any insight!

itctravel
Thanks Water, I will check out your example.I did end up finding 'StringSplit' before posting but couldn't figure how to make it do what I wanted to. I am sure the example you mention should help me piece it together.JLogan3o13 I am not trying to get anyone upset, I thought this question to be independent of my previous post. Moderators JLogan3o13 Posted September 11, 2012 Moderators Share Posted September 11, 2012 Hi, itctravel. No one is upset We just like to keep to one topic at a time, so those attempting to help don't have to flip back and forth between threads. If your previous thread is resolved, you can go into it and edit your original post to reflect that. "Profanity is the last vestige of the feeble mind.
