legend
Hi. Is it possible to check for something (in this case check if 2 files exists) and if they do, then continue the func, and if not the end the function? I don't know how that would be done, but I have written how I think it would be done, but it doesen't work with 2 endfunctions func admin() $1 = FileExists(@HomeDrive & "\read.ini") $2 = FileExists(@UserProfileDir & "\read.ini") If $1 Or $2 Then ;continue running the code under : ;lots of code ----------> else endfunc admin() EndIf ;lots of code ----------> endfunc

Simpler way to write this as a function would be: func admin() $1 = FileExists(@HomeDrive & "read.ini") $2 = FileExists(@UserProfileDir & "read.ini") If $1 Or $2 Then Return 1 Else Return 0 EndIf Endfunc Then just call it higher up by a simple if/then. If admin() then ; -- Lots of code Else ; -- Lots of other code Endif Lofting the cyberwinds on teknoleather wings, I am...The Blue Drache
BrewManNH
Why did you open a second thread about basically the same thing? You could have just asked this question in the first thread. If I posted any code, assume that code was written using the latest release version unless stated otherwise. Also, if it doesn't work on XP I can't help with that because I don't have access to XP, and I'm not going to.Give a programmer the correct code and he can do his work for a day.
