abberration
I don't know why the alt key doesn't work with the code I wrote below, but it does work with the enter key. There's probably some technical reason that I'm unaware of. Anyways, try this code to give you some ideas. Remember, this uses the enter key, not the alt key. expandcollapse popup#include <ButtonConstants.au3> #include <GUIConstantsEx.au3> #include <WindowsConstants.au3> Global $isCreated = 0 Global $MenuItem1, $MenuItem2, $MenuItem3 HotKeySet ("{ENTER}", "_MenuItemCheck") $Form1 = GUICreate("MyGui", 615, 438, 192, 124) _CreateMenuItems() GUISetState(@SW_SHOW) While 1 $nMsg = GUIGetMsg() Switch $nMsg Case $GUI_EVENT_CLOSE Exit EndSwitch WEnd Func _MenuItemCheck() If $isCreated = 0 Then _CreateMenuItems() Else _DeleteMenuItems() EndIf EndFunc Func _CreateMenuItems() $MenuItem3 = GUICtrlCreateMenu("MenuItem1") $MenuItem1 = GUICtrlCreateMenu("MenuItem2") $MenuItem2 = GUICtrlCreateMenu("MenuItem3") $isCreated = 1 EndFunc Func _DeleteMenuItems() GUICtrlDelete($MenuItem1) GUICtrlDelete($MenuItem2) GUICtrlDelete($MenuItem3) $isCreated = 0 EndFunc Easy MP3 | Software Installer | Password Manager
BrewManNH
The ALT key is a modifier for HotKeySet, it can't be used as a primary key. You'd need to use _IsPressed or something similar to detect just the ALT key being pressed. If I posted any code, assume that code was written using the latest release version unless stated otherwise. Also, if it doesn't work on XP I can't help with that because I don't have access to XP, and I'm not going to.Give a programmer the correct code and he can do his work for a day.
