Hello,

I want to return the value of a select statement into a variable and i don`t know how to do it

I have an oracle database and want to execute this select statement:

select count(*)

from table_name

where oracle_user = GUICtrlRead($Login)

I want to put the result into a variable(e.g. $Result) , so i can use this variable in a if statement like this:

If $Result = 1 Then

msgbox(0,"Result", "The user settings has been changed")

Else

msgbox(0,"Result", "The user does not exists in the database")

Can anyone help me how to do this.
