[Solved] What exactly is returned by the "binary" function

I get the following when I run this code

The binary output is the hex value in reverse, little endian if I'm not mistaken.

In factual terms: the binary value is an exact image of the memory layout where the data lives. Intel little endianness indeed reverses the order of bytes in memory from what maths (strict binary representation) dictates.

Thanks, I surmised that from the way "binary" and "hex" are used interchangeably in many contexts. In 370 architecture a memory dump is refered to as a hex dump and binary carries a very specific meaning. However, that was then, this is NOW.
