try this.

Local $file = FileOpen("test.txt", 0)

; Check if file opened for reading OK
If $file = -1 Then
MsgBox(0, "Error", "Unable to open file.")
Exit
EndIf

; Read
Local $chars = FileRead($file) ;get text from txt file

Local $file2 = FileOpen("test.html", 2) ;your new html file
FileWrite($file2,$chars); put html code saved into $chars
FileClose($file) ;close
FileClose($file2) ;close

regards

I think user wants to convert a text file to valid html syntax.

verma123, why not just take the html syntax you have there and use it?

$MyFirstLn = FileReadline ( "text.txt" , 1 )

then I use

FileWriteLine with something like this

FileWriteLine ( "text.txt" , " <a href="www.mysite.com/clean.php"> $MyFirstLn </a> " )

FileMove ( "text.txt" , "Text.html' )
