How Do I Append a string?

This is what I am using, but it is not adding the previous string to the current value.

Don't declare a variable in a loop and try to avoid using Global if you can.

Local $aArray[4] = [1, 2, 3, 4], $sReturn = ''
For $i = 0 To UBound($aArray) - 1
    $sReturn &= $aArray[$i] & ','
Next
MsgBox(4096, '', $sReturn)

And please use [autoit][/autoit] tags when writing code to the Forum.

Welcome to the Autoit forum.

At the moment you are just redeclaring the value of the string - you need to declare it just the once and then add to it:

Global $resultString = ""
For $x = 0 To UBound($aArray) -1
     $resultString = $resultString & $aArray[$x][0] & ','
Next

Or a little shorter:

Global $resultString = ""
For $x = 0 To UBound($aArray) -1
     $resultString &= $aArray[$x][0] & ','
Next

All clear?

The problem was they were declaring the variable again and again, plus your code won't work like that unless they declare the variable before. See above for working code.
