Hi,

Sure, you can get the startup folder with the macros @StartupDir, @StartMenuDir, ...

And then use the functions _FileListToArray and FileDelete.

Of course, with the help file and a little search on the forum you would be able to do it.

You need to check each executable for AutoIt signatures within. What it the purpose to search for AutoIt exes and delete them? This doesn't sound trustworthy!

Looking inside exe files compiled with AutoIt is not a subject open for discussion on this forum. However you may be able to get information from the file properties. You could also try a running a virus scanner. Some of them flag AutoIt executables. Personally I don't trust most AVs.

In the rules of AutoIt forums "Keyloggers and other forms of malware." is against the rules. Deleting files from a computer you don't have physical access to and deleting files seems like malware. If you made a .exe for a company to help then you get laid off/fired you can't go in and delete those files.

​I don't think anyone here will help with accessing the files remotely for deletion.

Also updating a file that you don't have a name for cause it changes then that means you created something you didn't want someone to know about (malware).

It's a file you are updating (presumeably one you created). The file gets renamed and sits on a remote PC. I'm sorry, this sounds like a bit of a joke. Why does it get renamed, why is it on a remote machine and why do you want to update it?

I dont seem to understand what you all are thinking, i did it on my pc in my country and right now an in another country. i dont have access to it physically cos am not there all i can try to do is access it remotely simply.

If you feel any suspicion towards what i simply asked then please don't bother since you may not understand my predicament
