eyegeegeewhy Posted October 18, 2012 Share Posted October 18, 2012 HiIm trying to decompress a gzipped file using This works fine, however it requires that I input the new file name whilst i would prefer to use the original filename stored inside the .gz fileIf i open the file in a text editor I can see the filename however if i tried to use "fileread" to read the characters it comes back with something else.
