get folder path

I have a script that creates a folder, then 8 folders within that 1st folder.

;1. put Project name into message box
$new_project_name = InputBox ("Name the Project", "Just Paste in the Project name", "AR123 Smith, Bob")
;MsgBox(64, "Project Name",$new_project_name)

$apace1 = WinExists(" FEATURES")
$apace2 = WinExists(" Telethon")
;MsgBox(64, "Project Name",$apace1)

If $apace1 = 1 Then
DirCreate ("\\Apacefeatures1\active_projects_a-d\ FEATURES\" & $new_project_name)
DirCreate("\\Apacefeatures1\active_projects_a-d\ FEATURES\" & $new_project_name & "\Nuendo Project\")
DirCreate("\\Apacefeatures1\active_projects_a-d\ FEATURES\" & $new_project_name & "\Final Cut 7\")
DirCreate("\\Apacefeatures1\active_projects_a-d\ FEATURES\" & $new_project_name & "\Pro CS6\")
DirCreate("\\Apacefeatures1\active_projects_a-d\ FEATURES\" & $new_project_name & "\Pro CS5.5\")
DirCreate("\\Apacefeatures1\active_projects_a-d\ FEATURES\" & $new_project_name & "\Pro CS5\")
DirCreate("\\Apacefeatures1\active_projects_a-d\ FEATURES\" & $new_project_name & "\Pro CS4\")
DirCreate("\\Apacefeatures1\active_projects_a-d\ FEATURES\" & $new_project_name & "\Pro CS3\")
DirCreate("\\Apacefeatures1\active_projects_a-d\ FEATURES\" & $new_project_name & "\_Media Files\")

EndIf

what I need is:

1. for the user to have ONLY the window open that will receive the new folder.

2. for the script to create the master folder in the only open window.

how do I tell the script to create a folder in the open, or front window.

thanks. In the mean time I'll plow through the help files

here is my code, it does not work

I need to find out what the path is for the one and only open window.

I expected to see a result like this:

"Apacefeatures1active_projects_a-d FEATURES"

thanks

; Get the handle of a notepad window that contains "this one"
Local $handle = WinGetHandle("[CLASS:Notepad]", "this one")
If @error Then
MsgBox(4096, "Error", "Could not find the correct window")

EndIf

I copied the help file, notepad is what was in the help file code...........I need the path to the open folder.

I may have more success if I ask the user where they need to create the folder and use winsettitle to set the open window to the folder that will receive the new folder.

I see nothing in your code that opens a folder. Which application opens/shows the folder?

sbrady,

I am very confused. How are you expecting the folders you create to be in a Notepad window? And setting the window title to "the folder that will receive the new folder" makes no sense to me at all.

Are you trying to open an Explorer window open on the path which shows the new folders that you are creating?

I cant find any kind of code or function in the help file that is why I am asking.

What is the window that is open you're trying to get the path from? If it's Windows Explorer and you're on Windows 7 use something like this

Local $title = WinGetTitle("[CLASS:CabinetWClass]", "")
MsgBox(0, "Full title read was:", $title)
