Good evening, I have the following problem.

I set the color of a button and at some point I have to check what color the botton to perform a different function depending on the color.

What command can I use to read the color of a botton?

thanks

Thank You

Alberto

Is this a button on an app you created? If so, just keep a record of what you set it to in a variable that you can recall later.

If I posted any code, assume that code was written using the latest release version unless stated otherwise. Also, if it doesn't work on XP I can't help with that because I don't have access to XP, and I'm not going to.

There are a few threads regarding trying to get the color of a control. There's no native function, or built-in UDF that offers a GUICtrlGetColor type of functionality. Mostly you'd need to use a PixelGetColor type of function to read it.
