Moderators Melba23 Posted October 24, 2012 Moderators Share Posted October 24, 2012 babelpatcher,You could always disable and then re-enable the main GUI yourself using GUISetState while the dialog is open. Moderators Melba23 Posted October 24, 2012 Moderators Share Posted October 24, 2012 babelpatcher,I have just noticed that you still have the [ ] (which signify optional parameters) in your code line. When I remove them I get the dialog as modal:#include <GUIConstantsEx.au3> $hGUI = GUICreate("Test", 500, 500) $cButton_1 = GUICtrlCreateButton("Choose", 10, 10, 80, 30) $cButton_2 = GUICtrlCreateButton("Test", 10, 100, 80, 30) GUISetState() While 1 Switch GUIGetMsg() Case $GUI_EVENT_CLOSE Exit Case $cButton_1 Global $conf_open = FileOpenDialog("Choose config file to open", @WorkingDir & "", "INI file (*.ini)", 1 + 4 , "" , $hGUI) Case $cButton_2 MsgBox(0, "Hi", "Pressed") EndSwitch WEndDo you?
