nasruddin Posted October 25, 2012 Share Posted October 25, 2012 The autoit/scite product combo doesn't appear to install in a usable form.My platform is Windows XP SP3, up to date on patches.SciTe wants to use function keys like ALT+F6 to start au3recorder.exe; this doesn't do anything.Going to au3recorder.exe & starting it directly results in a pop up window that says this:AU3Record.exe - unable to Locate ComponentThis application has failed to start because MSVCR100.dll was not found. Re-installing the application may fix this problem.There's a dll by that name in the installed Oracle Java JRE.I installed, in this order:autoit-v3-setup.exeSciTE4AutoIt3.exeFrom the download page as available today 24 Oct 2012.What can be done to make this work? That's what I would have done before posting, seeing as how the latest release version has been out since January, someone previous to you has probably seen this issue and asked about.
