FileCreateShortcut PATH double quotes strip

Where is it adding the double quotes, and what error are you getting when you try to run the program using the shortcut?

If I posted any code, assume that code was written using the latest release version unless stated otherwise. Also, if it doesn't work on XP I can't help with that because I don't have access to XP, and I'm not going to.

like i wanted to create FileCreateShortcut(' %WINDIR%' &'myapp.exe', ........ file shorcut is created with path but not vaild to run actually there is no need to add double quotes it works even without double quotes i need to strip that ?

FileCreateShortcut this function adding double quotes for trageted location

hope u get my point poor english : :graduated:

this exactly FileCreateShortcut doing i have no clue how to filter double quotes upon call

func FileCreateShortcut($myvar)
$myvar = '"' & $myvar &'"'
endfunc

in simple words i dont want FileCreateShortcut to add double quotes for target location
