Run problem...

Recommended Posts

What am i doing wrong here?

Run(@ComSpec & " /k " & "Program.exe /startup",@ScriptDir, @SW_HIDE)

RunWait("Program.exe /startup", "", @SW_HIDE)

I'm trying to run a command (program) with a second command after, but it neglects the second '/' command. It runs only Program.exe and not Program.exe /startup.

How can i solve this?

Don't use @SW_HIDE until you can get it working, there might be an error message being shown that you're not able to see.

Usually if something isn't working, you try to find out why it's not working. One of those steps of trouble shooting is looking for error messages or returns from the thing you're trying to do. You're not showing where you're doing any trouble shooting on this at all.

If I posted any code, assume that code was written using the latest release version unless stated otherwise. Also, if it doesn't work on XP I can't help with that because I don't have access to XP, and I'm not going to.

I hereby grant any person the right to use any code I post, that I am the original author of, on the autoitscript.com forums, unless I've specifically stated otherwise in the code or the thread post. If you do use my code all I ask, as a courtesy, is to make note of where you got it from.
