Enforcer
Hi every one, just got one simple question:is it possible in autoit to write code in a one string something like:InetGet($xLINK, @ScriptDir & "\DUMP.html") $DATA = FileRead(@ScriptDir & "\DUMP.html") beep(100,50) msgbox(0,"xxx","yyy")And all code in one string !? If not this will be cool feature in new autoit realise...to support something like:InetGet($xLINK, @ScriptDir & "\DUMP.html") && $DATA = FileRead(@ScriptDir & "\DUMP.html") && beep(100,50) && msgbox(0,"xxx","yyy") [RU] Zone
JohnOne
You can write one expression, But not two or more. But I don't think it would cool, or anything else good. BrewManNH
I'd hate having to try and troubleshoot code written like that. If I posted any code, assume that code was written using the latest release version unless stated otherwise. Also, if it doesn't work on XP I can't help with that because I don't have access to XP, and I'm not going to.Give a programmer the correct code and he can do his work for a day. If you do use my code all I ask, as a courtesy, is to make note of where you got it from. mihaibr
I do not think that it would be a useful improvement but, if you want to write all that code in one line you can use the Bit functions. Something like this: Local $DATA,$xLINK="http://google.com" BitAND(InetGet($xLINK, @ScriptDir & "DUMP.html") , ($DATA = FileRead(@ScriptDir & "DUMP.html")) , Beep(100,50) , MsgBox(0,"xxx","yyy")) But it's not useful for your scripts. guinness
But then $DATA isn't being assigned the contents of DUMP.html, it's doing a comparison instead. Decipher
I know this pointless to reply to but its useful if you to to populate an array with control handles. $aArray[5][2] = [["something here", GuiCtrlCreateButton("")],["Return Value", FIleExists("file")],["", 0],["", 0], _ [anotherfunc(), "you get the point"]] if $aArray[1][1] then msgbox(0, "", "the file exists") or pheraps return it to a normal var like: Dim $Exists = $aArray[1][1] -then continue on from there or with just a 1 dim array: $aCtrl[2] = [0, 1] Spoiler
