Hey everyone,

I'm completely new to autoing and I've never made a script in my life. Through a previous post, I realized I should be using the au3recorder for the script I'm trying to make. Basically, I'm just trying to click an option in a list on google chrome and clicking a scroll down menu and picking an option from a JNLP file. I know that au3recorder will record my mouse movements/clicks and that I can key command my different mouse movements.

I know what I want to do and the tools to get the task done, but I have no idea where to begin. Could someone show me a good intro tutorial to scite/au3? or would someone mind taking me through/where to begin?

Thanks.

16330,

Could someone show me a good intro tutorial to scite/au3?

Reading the Help file (at least the first few sections - Using AutoIt, Tutorials and the first couple of References) will help you enormously. You should also look at the excellent tutorials that you will find here and here - you will find other tutorials in the Wiki (the link is at the top of the page). There are even video tutorials on YouTube if you prefer watching to reading. :)

Good luck - you know where we are if you get stuck. ;)
