Been trying with logging the actual socket data and just confusing myself even more. Anyone know how to log the IP address of a connection that is coming? While Server listens Clent connects If Client sends bad data Then Log IP address Else Reply EndIf Wend basically what im trying to do here. bogQ Posted November 30, 2012 Share Posted November 30, 2012 (edited) how about on client #include <Inet.au3> _GetIP() and send data to server?! in help file under TCPRecv you do have SocketToIP example on end of code, aldo i don't know from first hand will if it'll work on internet communication if you need logical help in script, post the server side and describe problem in more details. and beside FileWrite there is ofc _FileWriteLog or _FileWriteToLine or IniWrite commands eg. Im sending the data across the internet and trying to pull the EXTERNAL IP of the client using data on the server.
