I am working with this

RegWrite("HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\policies\Explorer", "StartMenuLogOff", "REG_DWORD", "1")
While ProcessExists ( "explorer.exe" )
   ProcessClose ( "explorer.exe" )
WEnd
;Sleep (1000)
While Not ProcessExists ( "explorer.exe" )
   Run ( @WindowsDir & "\explorer.exe" )
   Sleep ( 1000 )

The purpose of this is to simply "refresh or apply changes" to the registry key in the above script. What I was hoping for was a simpler way to do the same thing without having to Logout, restart the PC, or close explorer.exe and restart it. I have searched all day with no luck. Any help would be appreciated.

Search for SystemParametersInfo, though I don't know if this applies to registry changes.
