Get text and click of pop-up menu

Recommended Posts

HI all, is it possible to get the text and then click on a menuitem of a pop-up menu of a control inside the browser ? In particular, I want to access the marked menuitem in the following screenshot:

I am fairly new to automation (though some experience in coding C#), please give me some pointers. Thanks a lot in advance.

That isn't a standard control, as in it's not on the web page, it's from an add on isn't it?

If I posted any code, assume that code was written using the latest release version unless stated otherwise. Also, if it doesn't work on XP I can't help with that because I don't have access to XP, and I'm not going to.

I hereby grant any person the right to use any code I post, that I am the original author of, on the autoitscript.com forums, unless I've specifically stated otherwise in the code or the thread post. If you do use my code all I ask, as a courtesy, is to make note of where you got it from.

Hi,

Why don't you try the available YouTube Downloaders on the forum (made in AutoIt) ?

Edit: after the next post, seems like my question was ignored.

Br, FireFox.

Yes, it actually comes from the IDMCC extesion for Firefox / IDM plugin for IE

Also, I choose this approach just to explore and use what I have at hand (IDM + IE / FIrefox - yeah, Firefox is ok too, I just happened to take a screenshot of the IE case :) )

So, is it even possible ? I mean, click the panel, then inspect the menuitems' text and finally click a specific menuitem ?
