Image detecting problem

I'm trying ImageSearch and cannot get it to work. Here is the code.

Basically I'm getting syntax error on a line 3 and char 13 which is not logical since everything match example in docs http://www.autohotkey.com/docs/commands/ImageSearch.htm

Any tips or ideas are highly appreciated.

P.S.

Few additional questions:

What is most common number of *n (variation) in ImageSearch for best matching capability? (I currently have put 2)

What is best format to save screen-shoot in?

Is there any other way of matching picture in active window that is maybe better that this one?

What exactly is this part of the imagesearch function supposed to mean? "(@ScriptDir & "imagesboost.jpg") *2" You're multiplying a filename and path by 2 for what purpose? It's going to give you an error because of that.

This is the AutoIt forum. The page you link to is a function for AutoHotKey - are you seriously expecting the 2 to be compatible?

Also, looking at the link you posted, you wrote it wrong for AHK as well, the variation in AHK goes before the filename, see the example script on that page. No idea how it would work in AutoIt though, the syntax is VERY different.

Although UDF might be what you need.

Excuse me for such dumb mistakes, I never developed in my life before and I started doing autoIt 3 days ago, I read only 3 little tuts explaining simple things, I got no idea about difference of ahk and autoit, documentation seamed so similar that I haven't even noticed they are different things.

I bumped on that topic before I asked for help here (and many more) but since it had no explanation how to use (there are c++ or c sources inside with what I don't have idea what to do) I simply went trying this from docs online. I will give another try to this UDF thing.

I succeed with ImageSearch.dll you gave me, it was fairly simple after I have read au3 source of it. Anyway thanks again for your fast answers and great ideas.
