Resource Hacker script ftp auto-download

Hello, I’m fairly new to scripting and would like to know if there is a way to go into a .exe file with resource hacker and edit a button I have made on a patcher to have an auto download attribute through scripting. Therefore, the script automatically starts up from the string table when the button is clicked and uses the ftp credentials I have provided to automatically login and download the files. I am making an auto update feature. Thank you.

You can modify resources, sure, but you cannot change or update the script.

Yes you can run external scripts, but that functionality must be written in the script to begin with.
