You have to use the latest Beta version of AutoIt for that line to work, and for some of the functions as well.

If I posted any code, assume that code was written using the latest release version unless stated otherwise. Also, if it doesn't work on XP I can't help with that because I don't have access to XP, and I'm not going to.

turbobaby,

That "ternary" syntax is only available in the Beta version - if you wish to use it then you can download it here. :)

If you want to remain with the 3.3.8.1 release then you will need to replace that line by this code:

If $_iMaxCam <= 2 Then
    Global Const $_iMaxHorzCam = $_iMaxCam
Else
    Global Const $_iMaxHorzCam = Ceiling($_iMaxCam / 2))
EndIf
You can see why the new syntax is being adopted. ;)

You can also do it this way in 3.3.8.1

; Change this
$_iMaxHorzCam = (($_iMaxCam <= 2) ? $_iMaxCam : Ceiling($_iMaxCam / 2))
; to this in 3.3.8.1
$_iMaxHorzCam = _Iif($$_iMaxCam <= 2, iMaxCam, Ceiling($_iMaxCam / 2))
But I believe you still need the beta for some of the _WinAPI functions, or GDI+ functions in the script.

EDIT: you'd also need to add this to the top of the script for the _Iif function, #include <Misc.au3>

also, it works now fine

i Change some lines and now i can to declare how many Cameras to use in the settings.ini file

If FileExists (@scriptdir & '\settings.ini') then
   $iMaxCam = IniRead("settings.ini","HOW_MANY_CAMERAS","a_lot_of",0)
   If not $iMaxCam=0 Then IniWrite("settings.ini", "HOW_MANY_CAMERAS", "a_lot_of", "2")
EndIf
If $iMaxCam=0 then $iMaxCam=2

#region Global Vars
Global Const $_sProgramTitle = "IP Camera"
Global Const $_sIniFilePath = @ScriptDir & "\settings.ini"

Global Const $_iMaxCam = $iMaxCam

perhapes you can change this code te be fairer
