@DesktopDir issue

Hi...I'm a newbie with AutoIt, but I'm running into a little issue. I'm using AutoIt on a Windows 7 Professional machine and the @DesktopDir macro is not returning the expected results. It's currently returning "sers\<User>\Desktop" instead of "C:\Users\<user>\Desktop". Any suggestions?

I find it a little surprising people post all these potential workarounds without first checking what the issue is.

Don't we all agree that @DesktopDir should return the correct path and when not we need to figure out why?

That's true, but in that case find a non workaround soluction can be hard. Only the devs know how/and where autoit read that values
