civilcalc
So i have completed an app, and currently in testing phase. I have an issue with some text labels not fitting on other machines due to themes and text sizing. I currently have it working on Vista in Classic mode (my machine, dont ask, I just like it) :-) Is there an easy way of making sure my text fits? Or an easy to get the theme of the users windows and set up some logic to change it? Thanks in advance as always, you guys are awesome :-)
BrewManNH
Turn off themes for your GUI, or just for the controls you want. Func _GUICtrlSetTheme($iControl = -1) If Not IsHWnd($iControl) Then $iControl = GUICtrlGetHandle($iControl) Local $aReturn = DllCall("UxTheme.dll", "int", "SetWindowTheme", "hwnd", $iControl, "wstr", 0, "wstr", 0) If @error Then Return SetError(1, 1, 0) Return $aReturn[0] EndFunc ;==>_GUICtrlSetTheme You can use this to turn off themes for just one control, or for the whole GUI. Also, if it doesn't work on XP I can't help with that because I don't have access to XP, and I'm not going to.Give a programmer the correct code and he can do his work for a day.
