Build exe from exe

Recommended Posts

Hi,

I have search arond but i don't have find anything, maybe i have used a wrong word.

Anyway, is possible to compile an exe from a compiled exe without autoit installed on the same system?

I have start to make a script:

#include <ButtonConstants.au3>
#include <EditConstants.au3>
#include <GUIConstantsEx.au3>
#include <StaticConstants.au3>
#include <WindowsConstants.au3>
$Form1 = GUICreate("Test", 276, 171, 196, 127)
$Input_Command = GUICtrlCreateInput("Run('calc.exe')", 16, 24, 241, 21)
GUICtrlCreateLabel("Command:", 16, 7, 54, 17)
$BUILD = GUICtrlCreateButton("BUILD", 16, 104, 241, 49)
GUISetState(@SW_SHOW)
While 1
 $nMsg = GUIGetMsg()
 Switch $nMsg
  Case $GUI_EVENT_CLOSE
   Exit
  Case $BUILD
   Test()
 EndSwitch
WEnd
Func Test()
 Local $file = FileOpen("final.au3", 2)
 FileWrite($file, "#Region" & @CRLF & "#AutoIt3Wrapper_Icon=icon.ico" & @CRLF & "#AutoIt3Wrapper_Res_requestedExecutionLevel=asInvoker" & @CRLF & "#EndRegion" & @CRLF & @CRLF)
 FileWrite($file, GUICtrlRead($Input_Command))
 FileClose($file)
EndFunc

Thanks

It was fun until it lasted, hope on my future way i can't find people that offend without any reason ( i was called lazy and parasitic, and everyone agreed...United we stand, divided we fall ) just for fun because don't have anything to do in the life, without knowing anything about the person who write, noone forced to post, noone forced to help.

From the top of the from their very great superiority they not go down to my level, that people can not spread the knowledge but you have to learn by yourself.

In what way? It's easy...just search on google

Why do you want to compile the second exe on the target system? Couldn't you just use FileInstall?

Because i don't have the exe, i have a txt with all the path of the exes, i'll read the path in array and make something like:

Run(soft1.exe) --> Iconsoft1

Run(soft2.exe) --> Iconsoft2

etc.

I don't know if i was clear

OliverA,

I showed how to compile an exe from within another exe here. But I am still unclear why you need to do this. :huh:

Run(soft1.exe) --> Iconsoft1

"soft1.exe" is the path of the exe to be run? What does "Iconsoft1" stand for?
