bolobolo,

Welcome to the AutoIt forum. :)

That sounds not too difficult to script - what code have you tried so far that has not worked? :huh:

Welcome to AutoIt and the forum,

Why do you want to click on a label to change the checkbox? And how will the user know that a click on the label changes the checkbox?

This code will always set the checkbox to unchecked because both statements return True.

It's the second time you open a thread for the same reason...

#include <ButtonConstants.au3>
#include <GUIConstantsEx.au3>
#include <StaticConstants.au3>
#include <WindowsConstants.au3>

$Form1 = GUICreate("Form1", 211, 49, 225, 174)
$Label1 = GUICtrlCreateLabel("Check", 8, 16, 36, 17)
$Checkbox1 = GUICtrlCreateCheckbox("", 56, 16, 97, 17)
GUISetState(@SW_SHOW)

While 1
$nMsg = GUIGetMsg()
Switch $nMsg
Case $GUI_EVENT_CLOSE
Exit
Case $Label1
If BitAnd(GUICtrlRead($Checkbox1), $GUI_UNCHECKED) Then
GUICtrlSetState($Checkbox1, $GUI_CHECKED)
Else
GUICtrlSetState($Checkbox1, $GUI_UNCHECKED)
EndIf
EndSwitch
WEnd

bolobolo,

You just need to ask the right question: ;)

#include <GUIConstantsEx.au3>

$Form1 = GUICreate("Form1", 239, 155, 302, 218)
$Label1 = GUICtrlCreateLabel("Label1", 48, 56, 132, 17)
$Checkbox1 = GUICtrlCreateCheckbox("", 32, 56, 17, 17)
GUISetState(@SW_SHOW)

While 1
    Switch GUIGetMsg()
        Case $GUI_EVENT_CLOSE
            Exit
        Case $Label1
            ; See if the checkbox is checked
            If GUICtrlRead($Checkbox1) = 1 Then
                ; It is so uncheck it
                GUICtrlSetState($Checkbox1, $GUI_UNCHECKED)
            Else
                ; It is not so check it
                GUICtrlSetState($Checkbox1, $GUI_CHECKED)
            EndIf
    EndSwitch
WEnd

All clear? :)

bolobolo,

Glad MyEarth and I could help. :)

P.S. When you reply, please use the "Reply to this topic" button at the top of the thread or the "Reply to this topic" editor at the bottom rather than the "Quote" button - I know what I wrote and it just pads the thread unneccessarily. ;)
