Three suggestions:

1. Try reading the help file - File, Directory and Disk Management.

2. Try searching the forum.

3. Ensure you have read the forum rules - especially the part referencing game automation.

Try reading the file date and comparing it with your file date. Or store the last used file date in a txt or xml file then when checking against the file in dropbox if it is newer than your date you know to use it. The file version question requires more input though.
