Default to Beta Version

Recommended Posts

I am trying to figure out how to make 3.3.9.4 my default version.

Have tried:

"Toggle AU3 Beta" shortcut in start|all programs|autoit 3|beta folder

- says it works but scripts run from SCITE (F5) still use prod version

Found this in doc

"To switch the Definitions for SciTE between Production and Beta you need to run:

c:Program FilesAutoIT3SciTEdefsUpdateDefs.exe or use the shortcut in:

Start/All programs/Autoit v3/SciTE/Switch definitions"

- Autoit is installed in folder c:Program Files (x86)AutoIT3SciTEdefsUpdateDefs.exe

and this program does not exist here

Tried adding "#AutoIt3Wrapper_Version=b" to script

- Still runs prod version

How can I do this?

Thanks,

kylomas

What I did was install the beta in its own folder and just use that by itself.

If I posted any code, assume that code was written using the latest release version unless stated otherwise. Also, if it doesn't work on XP I can't help with that because I don't have access to XP, and I'm not going to.
