Moderators Melba23 Posted April 16, 2013 Moderators Share Posted April 16, 2013 (edited) SONIK,Welcome to the AutoIt forum. But please pay attention to where you are posting - "Test Posting Messages" is pretty obviously not the correct place. I have moved this thread to "General Help" whch is more suitable. And may I suggest using the "Search" feature (it is at top-right of the page) as this question has been asked and answered many, many times. M23Edit: And I have merged the 2 threads - please stick to just the one in future. BrewManNH
Step 1 - Identify the program you're trying to automate Step 2 - Show the full output of the AU3Info tool for the program and control (summary page) Step 3 - Tell us what you've already tried, and any code you've already come up with whether it works or not Step 4 - Remember, we don't spoon feed code to users, they have to make some kind of effort on their own Step 5 - Read the help file as it relates to your issue. If I posted any code, assume that code was written using the latest release version unless stated otherwise. Also, if it doesn't work on XP I can't help with that because I don't have access to XP, and I'm not going to.Give a programmer the correct code and he can do his work for a day. Queener
This might help you Yeah; you guys don't spoil the code out, but at least point us to the right direction. Can't always expect people to know everything that you know just because you're tie to this program a long time ago. Moderators Melba23 Posted April 17, 2013 Moderators Share Posted April 17, 2013 asianqueen, There are so many ways to interact with web pages and applications that we always ask for some details so that the code we suggest is relevant - otherwise we could well be wasting our (and the OP's) time. So trying to get a little more precision is not us being obstructive - just trying to offer focused help. MouseSpotter
It is a windows application with username and password text boxes and a login button on it.Assuming that your application automatically gives focus to the username - you can simulate the key presses via the "SEND" command.Essentially: send the username text; send tab(s) to make the application focus on the password; send the password text; send tabs(s) to get the login button; send the enter key
