easy question about _GUICtrlListView_InsertItem

hi guy

i have a script in this script i created a listview with 10 colum

i wanna insert a data inside the colum and i wanna use _GUICtrlListView_InsertItem

in first colum go perfectly but how can insert in second 3 4 5 column ?? ?

thankz so much for help :)

GUICtrlListView_InsertItem:

You can not use this function to insert subitems. Use _GUICtrlListView_SetItemText to insert subitems.

That should solve your problem...

_GUICtrlListView_SetItemText would be the function to insert into another column of the listview, _GUICtrlListView_InsertItem only inserts to the first column as far as I'm aware of.

If I posted any code, assume that code was written using the latest release version unless stated otherwise. Also, if it doesn't work on XP I can't help with that because I don't have access to XP, and I'm not going to.

o thankz but why invent this function if exist another much better ??? :) strange :D

The _GUICtrlListView_InsertItem function allows for the creation of a new ListView item, and the _GUICtrlListView_SetItemText allows you to modify the text of a previously created ListView item.

Ask Microsoft why this is, it's not an AutoIt thing.
