detected
Hi, I'm trying to get a part of the html source using regex. StringRegExpReplace($Body, '^.*?<table id="content">(.*?)</table>.*$', '$1') However, I get displayed the full html source as output... How to get $1? JonBMN
Any chance you could provide a snippet of your HTML code so that we can make sure your matching the string to check and the regexp correctly? Nessie
You have to assign a variable to StringRegExpReplace $sSource = '<table id="content">Nessie the monster</table>' $sRegex = StringRegExpReplace($sSource, '^.*?<table id="content">(.*?)</table>.*$', '$1') MsgBox(0, "Test", $sRegex) Hi! detected
Ok I found the problem This gives the same problem: $sSource = '<table id="content">' & @CRLF & 'Nessie the monster</table>' $sRegex = StringRegExpReplace($sSource, '^.*?<table id="content">(.*?)</table>.*$', '$1') MsgBox(0, "Test", $sRegex) I did a StringReplace on @CRLF, @CR and @LF and now it's working
Nessie
Or you can use the Matching Characters s to match:Match any whitespace character: Chr(9) through Chr(13) which are Horizontal Tab, Line Feed, Vertical Tab, Form Feed, and Carriage Return, and the standard space ( Chr(32) ).Hi! Malkey
Continuing with Nessie's advice about s. This example does not capture leading or trailing vertical or horizontal white spaces if they exist. $sSource = '<table id="content">' & @CRLF & 'Nessie the monster</table>' $sRegex = StringRegExpReplace($sSource, '^.*?<table id="content">\s*(.*?)\s*</table>.*$', '$1') MsgBox(0, "Test", $sRegex)
