Queener
Sorry for the noobie question and hard to explain, but hopefully this make sense. If it doesn't exist it's okay. Is there such code to update #include list every 1-5second? I created a project(Project1) to include a array list(Project2). I notice that if I execute the Project1; it loads array list on Project2 to Project1. Any modification I made to project2 doesn't effect immediate while Project1 is being open. I have to close project1 and reopen project1 in order for project2 change to takes effect on project1. Moderators Melba23 Posted April 19, 2013 Moderators Share Posted April 19, 2013 asianqueen,The #include directive is actioned at script start only. But there are several other ways to to pass data between running scripts. Try searching for "inter script communication" and you will soon find them. jdelaney
Another route: If you outsource the array to a file (such as a text file that has some known delimination), then you can periodically check if there are changes, and reload on your running script. example: record the last modified date when you read in the data, and in your loop, check if that modified date on the file changes. Ah! It only include it once for the project during compile. After compile, even if the second au3 is not within the exe file; it'll work without it.Can you point me to a simple of using inter script communication. I found a couple example, but they're not what I'm looking for. Msgbox(0, "Hate", "Just hate it when I post a question and find my own answer after a couple tries. Queener
isn't that for mail only? I'm actually looking for example: Project1 = look at $username from Project2 and input it here (On Project1).
