IIIRAZORIII
hi, there been looking for some information relevent to increasing the values within the clipboard. basically i want to copy a value onto clipboard, then increase the amount by x value (100 for example) can't seem to find anything close to my desired effect via google, and i'm unsure exactly what functions would be needed. if anyone is able to point me in the right direction, i would appreciate it greatly. thank you
BrewManNH
You can't do it directly in the clipboard, you have to do it externally then repaste it to the clipboard. Unless there's a way to do it in memory, which would be more work than you'd save by doing it normally. If I posted any code, assume that code was written using the latest release version unless stated otherwise. Also, if it doesn't work on XP I can't help with that because I don't have access to XP, and I'm not going to.Give a programmer the correct code and he can do his work for a day. IIIRAZORIII
yeah, sorry i was expecting it to be done externally, but wasn't sure how it would be done. i've been having issues finding simlar functions from which i can learn from as to how to do this. i know it probably so simple, and i'm probably over thinking it. just unsure how to tackle it. BrewManNH
Don't put quotes around the variable name, just use ClipPut($clipvalue). IIIRAZORIII
getting weird results. 100 1000 3100 starting at 100, and copying last numbers while running script give these results instead of; 100 200 300 almost seems like it needs reset Edited April 27, 2013 by IIIRAZORIII
BrewManNH
Using your posted script example I'm getting 100 200 300 ... Here's an example using your While loop, but modified slightly to make it a bit more efficient. While 1 $clipvalue = ClipGet() ConsoleWrite('@@ Debug(' & @ScriptLineNumber & ') : $clipvalue = ' & $clipvalue & @crlf & '>Error code: ' & @error & @crlf) ;### Debug Console ClipPut(ClipGet() + 100) Sleep(10) WEnd Edited April 27, 2013 by BrewManNH If I posted any code, assume that code was written using the latest release version unless stated otherwise. BrewManNH
How are you reading and displaying the clipboard, because my script doesn't give those results.
