Navigating through Internet Explorer

Recommended Posts

I am trying to learn how to navigate through IE with Auto IT. I am looking through the help file at the same scripts and I came across the the sample for

_IEFormGetObjByName.

When I open this script and run it I am huess that it is supposed ti search Google for "AutoIt IE.au3", however, all this does for me is to open IE and go to Google.com then stops.

Is there a specific version of IE that I need to be using? Or is there something in that script that I need to edit before running it?

Hi, bremen. Perhaps if you could be more specific about what you're trying to accomplish, it would be easier to point you in the right direction.

Ok. I'm not sure if what I am trying to violiates the terms of this forum, and if it does I applogise.

I have data that needs to be loaded into two places at once. One is a website and the other is a software. The code for the software is the easy part, but I have never interfaced with IE. I need to log into a website, navigate to the place where data needs to be entered, input data, then do the same for software. For the form that will be available to the user I want that user to input his specific login information then once the scipt is complete wipe that information.
