Moderators Melba23 Posted May 8, 2013 Moderators Share Posted May 8, 2013 AnrDaemon,Welcome to the AutoIt forum. What exactly do you mean by "Colorer"? If you mean the various syntax colourings in SciTE then this thread might be useful. AnrDaemon
Erm. Too bad for you then, because it's everything you may expect of syntax coloring, syntax checking and code outlining functionality. http://colorer.sourceforge.net/

Moderators Melba23 Posted May 8, 2013 Moderators Share Posted May 8, 2013 AnrDaemon,Charming attitude you have there. As you can see from the thread to which I linked, SciTE already has syntax colouring - and if you download the full version of SciTE4AutoIt3 you get syntax checking and lots of other goodies to help you code as well. guinness
AutoIt v2 is already available. Shouldn't be too hard for you to just upgrade to v3. In terms of the Forum it uses GeSHi, so colorer seems pretty redundant here. AnrDaemon
I dare not writing a tutorial covering even most basic functionality of Colorer alone, not to mention the power of it being coupled with different tools, starting from Far manager, for which it was originally written, but since expanded beyond, now offering it's functionality as an embeddable library. AnrDaemon
Yes, I'm, but none of these two tools are mine. Short answer would be: I'm not changing to SciTE. I'd rather help the tools I'm using being expanded to cover one more language, than to change to something completely different, that may not have what I need. (And i'm pretty sure, SciTE don't have file manager and console buffer.)
