ajag
Hi everybody, I've an issue with the macro '@FavoritesCommonDir'. It shows the same path as '@FavoritesDir'. When I run this #include <Array.au3> Local $Array[2][2] = [["@FavoritesCommonDir",@FavoritesCommonDir],["@FavoritesDir",@FavoritesDir]] _ArrayDisplay($Array, "Paths") I get [seeattached screenshot] '@FavoritesCommonDir' points to my personal FavoritesDir rather than to the common FavDir "C:UsersPublicFavorites" Windows 7 x64 (It's the same result when running skript compiled as 32 or 64 bit.) ajag Rule #1: Always do a backup Rule #2: Always do a backup (backup of rule #1)
Danp2
What version of Autoit are you running? I tested your code with v3.3.8.1, and the results were as expected. Also, check the values of ALLUSERSPROFILE and USERPROFILE from the command prompt. BrewManNH
I get the same results on my Win 7 machine, but it might have something to do with it being on a domain, or because I had the folder redirected to a network share. If I posted any code, assume that code was written using the latest release version unless stated otherwise. Also, if it doesn't work on XP I can't help with that because I don't have access to XP, and I'm not going to.Give a programmer the correct code and he can do his work for a day. Developers Jos Posted May 16, 2013 Developers Share Posted May 16, 2013 AutoIt3 uses the SHGetFolderPathW or SHGetFolderPathA direct calls and it looks like this is the standard behaviour for Vista and up. The call uses KNOWNFOLDERID and when you scroll down in that page you find: FOLDERID_Favorites GUID{1777F761-68AD-4D8A-87BD-30B759FA33DD} Display NameFavorites Folder TypePERUSER Default Path%USERPROFILE%Favorites CSIDL Equivalent: CSIDL_FAVORITES, CSIDL_COMMON_FAVORITES Legacy Display NameFavorites Legacy Default Path%USERPROFILE%Favorites Jos SciTE4AutoIt3 Full installer Download page - Beta files Read before posting How to post scriptsource Forum etiquette Forum Rules Live for the present, Dream of the future, Learn from the past.
