How do I call a function inside a compiled exe?

Recommended Posts

I've got a compiled exe created with C. It is not autoit based. Is there a possible way for me to activate functions within the exe itself?

For example, there's a function called 'void DoSomething(void)' before it's compiled. Is there an autoit method to call DoSomething within the exe once it is compiled?

Thanks!

Maybe if it was a DLL then it would be possible.

No, that's different. Is the exe your C compiled executable? What is your overall purpose? Can't you just code it in AutoIt or C?

Yes, the exe is the C compiled executable. My purpose is mainly just streamlining. I have a program that is in two different languages. The menu functions and much of the back-end are in C, which I'm less familiar with. I would like to simply call those C functions from the other language's scripts.
